The Vicksburg Pickleball Association proudly announces the first Miss Mississippi Pickleball Tournament. It’s set for April 6th, 2024, at Hall’s Ferry Park in Vicksburg, MS. This event is a mix of competition and community support, with proceeds benefiting the Miss Mississippi Corporation.

Event Details

The tournament will be held at 257 Hall Ferry Park Road, Vicksburg, Mississippi. It’s a mixed doubles event with an entry fee of $60. Please note, all start times can change. The event might also see divisions merged or split, depending on registration numbers.

Entry is set at $55 plus $5 for pickleballbrackets. To guarantee a tournament t-shirt, register before March 18th, 2024. The event caps at 50 teams, with registration closing on March 27th, 2024. The format is round-robin, categorized by age and skill levels: 18+, 35+, 50+, 60+, and 70+.

This unsanctioned event will feature matches of two games to 11, win by 1. We’ll be using Franklin X balls, and divisions may be combined based on the Event Coordinator’s discretion.

Additional Information

In case of bad weather, we’ll do everything possible to complete the tournament. This includes delaying starts or shortening matches. If the event is cancelled and can’t be rescheduled, entry fees will support the Miss Mississippi Corporation.

Refunds are available until March 27th, 2024, minus a $5 administration fee. No refunds will be issued after this date.

Venue Information

The tournament takes place at Hall’s Ferry Park, featuring 8 courts with permanent nets. Parking is free, pets and food are allowed, and gold matches will be officiated.
